Leeds in West Yorkshire is one of the fastest growing cities in England. Its population was estimated in 2019 at 784,846 – of which approximately 32% are aged 50 or over. The city joined the Global Network of Age-friendly Cities and Communities in 2014.
Age-friendly Leeds is led by a partnership between Leeds City Council and Leeds Older People’s Forum.
