Jobs and advisory positions
The Centre for Ageing Better is seeking motivated and talented people to join our team. We offer a variety of opportunities including permanent roles, fixed term roles, secondments, internships, volunteering and lay involvement.
Jobs at Ageing Better
Are you an enterprising project and partnerships manager with experience of local delivery and change? If so, we would like you to lead Ageing Better’s developing partnership with Leeds City Council and Leeds Older People’s Forum.
Are you an organised and proactive individual with the ability to problem solve? Do you have a background in office management and enjoy working across a wide range of tasks? If so, we want to hear from you.
Advisory positions at Ageing Better
From time to time we may publish opportunities to get involved in our work through joining an advisory group on a specific activity, such as an evidence review.
Typically, we will be looking for a range of people with different types of expertise to bring to our work, such as academic expertise in a particular research field, professional experience of commissioning or delivering services, or people with personal lived experience of the issues we are looking at.
There are no advisory positions currently available, but we will publish details of these opportunities on this page as and when we are recruiting.
Offer your expertise
If you believe you have time and relevant skills which will help us with our work, we would like to hear from you. Assistance at this stage could be in the form of reviewing research or grant proposals, reviewing reports and publications, or giving your views on other aspects of our work.
Please refer back to this page in future – we will keep this section updated as and when we are inviting applications for job opportunities, advisory positions or voluntary positions. You can sign up to our email updates to hear more about the Centre for Ageing Better as our work develops.
