He is a Chartered Town Planner and joined Ageing Better from the Town and Country Planning Association, where he influenced national policy and supported local authorities to secure more decent and affordable housing.
His background is in local government as a practitioner and policy-maker. He developed programmes investing in affordable housing at the Greater London Authority, worked with communities to create neighbourhood plans at the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead, and delivered planning projects at the City of London Corporation.
Henry joined the Centre for Ageing Better in October 2019. He is passionate about working collaboratively across the housing and planning sector to improve people’s lives.
